Patriotism

For 125 years, The Daughters of the American Revolution has carried the torch of patriotism, defined by the Cambridge English Dictionary as “the feeling of loving your country more than any others and being proud of it.” DAR activities that are considered patriotic include volunteering at Veterans Affairs (VA) hospitals, supporting active duty military, promoting Constitution Week, presenting patriotic awards, and assisting and welcoming naturalized citizens.
