The Mary Virginia Cabell Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR), is a dynamic women’s service organization that serves the Central Florida area out of Maitland, Florida. We proudly support the mission of Historic Preservation, Education, and Patriotism. If that mission speaks to you, we would love to have you join us! Husband Ellet Cabell
Mary Virginia Cabell was an unsung hero who worked for the greater good of the NSDAR organization, working behind the scenes to establish our national society creating a strong foundation.
She was the only officer to serve as Vice President General presiding from (1890 – 1892), Honorary President presiding (1901) and Honorary Vice President General (1898-1930).

The chapter meets on a Tuesday each month from September to May.

The DAR is a volunteer service organization open to women 18 years and older who can trace their ancestral lineage to a person or persons who supported, fought, or aided in the Revolutionary War.
