Osceola is a proud supporter of Manatee Village Historical Park,  Manatee County History Day, Manatee Veteran’s Village, Manatee Veterans Council, Wreaths Across America, Flag Day, Constitution Day, DAR Schools, JROTC,  and Southeastern Guide Dogs, and as well as many other community projects.

We’ve contributed one or more genealogy books in the name of each deceased member to the Manatee County Library genealogy department.  We’ve participated in cemetery cleanings and perform service on our annual day of service in October.

Osceola Chapter presents a scholarship annually to one Manatee County High School student from one of our four supported schools – Lakewood Ranch, Manatee, Braden River, and Parrish.

Our conservation program currently supports  Anna Maria Island Turtle Watch, and we have adopted turtle nests in since 2018.  Several of our members were lucky to see a new turtle laying her eggs while our nest was being checked.  We’re Turtle Moms!
